After days of anxiety, I felt such relief yesterday, and great sadness too. Sadness for the witnesses, especially the young people, whose lives are forever changed by their experience. For Mr. Floyd, whose life was cut short so unnecessarily and so painfully. For the incredible efforts that were required to bring this accountability. And for the continued killing of Black people by police. I pray that this is a reckoning that will help the tremendous inequalities in our city, state, and country. We shall see.
Meanwhile, I have been keeping on with my business and have lots of news to share with you, not the least of which is that my staff and I have all been vaccinated. Here is all the latest at Heartfelt.
Heartfelt is 10!
I opened the shop on the last day of April 2011. Has it really been that long/short? The preschoolers that came to visit then are now teenagers. And my hair is definitely grayer. I am so grateful to all supporters of this venture, then and now!
New Crafts for April & May
We have added craft projects for April and May, including gifts to make for Mom, Grandma, Dad, Grandpa, and teachers. And it’s Fairy Garden time–we have flats of small plants and other inspiring materials. Any of the projects can be ordered to go or call us to make a reservation to craft in the shop.

Coming This Summer: Outdoor Birthday Parties!
With the coming of warmer weather, we will offer outdoor birthday parties on Saturdays in June, July, and August. There is space outside the back of our building; we will use canopies for shelter from the weather (including the sun) and follow Covid safety guidelines. We will pop popcorn, make cool crafts, and hunt for treasure.
