When my daughter was 4, we found ourselves in downtown Toronto, purchasing software for our new computer. As we exited the store, we found ourselves in the middle of the Pride parade. My daughter was enraptured “look at all the princesses, Mommy!” so we sat on the curb to watch. Noticing her excitement, marchers plied her with chocolate bars and candy. It was definitely a favorite memory from her childhood!
In our current political climate, it is more important than ever to support equal rights and inclusion for all, including our LGBTQ neighbors. We have strings of wool felt flags in stock and we are featuring all our rainbow products in our window. Children love rainbows and so do we. Happy Pride!
